CHALLENGE:
To promote the SBS Pop Weekend (airing across SBS 2 and SBS Pop Asia), by creating a fun and interactive solution that appealed to those attending the 2015 BIGBANG [MADE] World Tour concerts in Sydney. The main objective was to make people aware of Asian pop culture & entertainment, including how and where they could watch and listen, whilst also encouraging people to participate in an experience synonymous to Asian Cultures that allowed them to create user generated content.

SOLUTION:
One of the main themes around the SBS Pop Weekend was the promotion of Asian music in Australia, therefore TCS created a digital experience directly aligned to this. The result was a unique lip-syncing experience which allowed fans to pick up a microphone, choose their favourite BIGBANG song, then lip-sync and dance along as they watched the official music video play in front of them! After the recording had finished each person then instantaneously received a personalised eDM which took them to their very own SBS branded music video. We incentivised social sharing of the videos across Facebook and Twitter by giving people the chance to win tickets and upgrades to the BIGBANG concert, if the video was tagged with #SBSPopWeekend.
