CHALLENGE:
To leverage the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games by creating unique, innovative and interactive sports based shopper / customer experiences, that combined the worlds of digital and tangible, drove traffic back into centre and that captured and built a new database for future marketing.

SOLUTION:
The Creative Shop designed and develop a number of interactive, digital, Commonwealth Games themed experiences to excite and engage shoppers. Each interactive element allowed shoppers to immediately share user-generated images and videos to their social media channels via a personalised eDM. These experiences allowed shoppers to test their skills to see if they could land a winning kick between the posts in Rugby Sevens, their hand-eye coordination, to see how many buzzers they could hit in a Beach Volleyball agility test, as well as a stamina and endurance test on a gruelling virtual Road Cycling course around Broadbeach. Over 10,000 emails were sent in just 12 days, containing user generated content for social sharing
