CHALLENGE:
To create a number of innovative, interactive and most importantly fun netball themed experiences that combined the worlds of digital and tangible, to drive fan engagement within NWC2015 FanFEST during tournament time. The secondary objective was to collect data from all the experiences and also encourage the sharing of user-generated content across social channels, to ensure that NWC2015 FanFEST became the ‘social HUB’ of the tournament.

SOLUTION:
Working in collaboration with the Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015, The Creative Shop designed and developed five interactive, digital, netball-themed experiences to excite netball fans that were visiting FanFEST. Each interactive experience was fully Wi-Fi enabled, which allowed fans to immediately share user-generated images and videos to their social media channels via a personalised eDM. These interactive activations were distributed throughout the NWC2015 FanFEST and provided some truly unique experiences for fans of all ages. Most people had never seen anything like it around a sporting or netball environment before, and subsequently the feedback from those who saw and participated in one of the experiences was overwhelmingly positive.
