To develop a simple, autonomous, interactive experience to extend National Storage’s sponsorship of the Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Stars during BBL05.
Utilising our versatile touch-screen kiosks we were able to quickly develop a unique twist on the ‘Man of the Match’ experience which, with simple tweaks to the user interface and content, was relevant across both the Melbourne Stars (MCG) and Brisbane Heat (The Gabba) games. National Storage wanted to ingratiate themselves with the Big Bash audience, and so instead of fans simply picking the ‘Man of the Match’ they had to pick the player that they thought would score the most runs AND the player they thought would bowl the most dot balls… harder than it sounds! For those that picked correctly, they entered the draw at the end of the tournament for a money-can’t-buy autographed cricket bat signed by all the players. Fans were able to participate in other National Storage competitions by clicking through their personalised eDM, which instantly appeared in their inbox on completion of their picks and registration details.
