CHALLENGE:
To provide an interactive experience that appealed to all ages and nationalities of racing fans passing through the F1 Fan Zone in the lead up to the F1 in City Square & Federation Square and Albert Park during the 2016 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix.

SOLUTION:
We started by putting ourselves in the mindset of a Formula 1 fan, and after talking through endless solutions we always came back to the same conclusion; whether you’re male or female, young or old, everyone wants to see themselves as a F1 driver. Therefore, we created an experience where anyone could have their picture taken and within 30 seconds be transformed into an F1 driver starring on the cover of the Official #AusGP magazine! The digital magazine cover was delivered to each person via a personalised eDM, and was instantly shareable across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The concept was simple, but the execution was perfect with over 4,500 people going through the experience during the three events.
