Nothing but NET(ball) for The Creative Shop in August 2015

In a year where sport has been their focus, The Creative Shop is delighted to have now picked up their third international sports competition in less than 6 months.

Starting with a hugely successful project on behalf of the AFC Asian Cup, The Creative Shop then secured the ICC Cricket World Cup and now most recently Netball World Cup SYDNEY 2015 (NWC2015).

The Creative Shop has been appointed as the Digital Fan Engagement Partner to deliver Interactive Fan Engagement activations as part of the Netball World Cup’s FanFEST – which will be a first for the sport.

Building on the innovative and interactive digital experiences developed across football and cricket, come August 7 – 16, netball fans will have the opportunity to participate in a range of unique sporting experiences, all designed to allow them to build, test and hone their netball skills at Netball World Cup FanFEST in a fun and interactive way.

In line with Netball World Cup’s creation of FanFEST as the social hub for the tournament, all of the experiences designed by The Creative Shop will allow fans to create, post and share user-generated content across their social media channels.

“Understanding that the landscape in Australia across 2015 was heavily saturated with sporting activity, including many international tournaments and exhibition matches,  we made a decision to focus our efforts on showcasing our skill-set in this space. 

As a result, we have had an incredibly strong six months securing now our third international sports tournament, which has allowed us to demonstrate some truly cutting-edge technology to worldwide audiences.”

About: NWC2015 FanFEST

The Netball World Cup FanFEST is the dedicated social HUB for #NWC2015 and is located a short 2 min walk from Allphones Arena, Sydney Olympic Park.  From Friday 7th – Sunday 16th August NWC2015 will be bursting with international netball action with 64 World Cup matches taking place at Allphones Arena and Netball Central within Sydney Olympic Park.
